On Monday, October 17, ReuseConex is hosting a “Gleaned Meal” at JulietSomerville’s hottest restaurant (http://www.julietsomerville.com) for a deliciously repurposed dinner to remember.  Recently named one of Bon Appetit Magazine’s best 50 new restaurants in the country, and hailed as a “jewel box filled with surprises” by the Boston Globe,  Juliet revels in creative cooking with a focus on local sourcing, nose to tail utilization and exotic, yet familiar flavors.  Owners Chef Josh Lewin and Katrina Jayerzi will craft a delicious, 3-course, family style meal for ReuseConex attendees utilizing normally would-be-wasted food including farm seconds and vegetable trim.  In the United States 40% of all food gets wasted, while one in seven Americans, including one in five children go hungry.  This meal will highlight ways we can all do better by utilizing our food more thoughtfully.

Seating will be very limited (20 seats), so don’t delay – register today to secure your spot at the table. Click here to register.  The prix-fixe for the meal is $50. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.  Please indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies when registering.
