The ReArt Exhibit will feature the work of local fine artists who use reclaimed material as their primary medium. The exhibit will be part of the conference’s Trade Show as well as the public Reuse Expo.

Call for Artists

Fine artists who work with reclaimed materials are invited to submit applications to show their work in the ReArt Exhibit. Up to ten artists will be selected for this novel opportunity. ReArt participants will show their work at the ReuseConex conference Trade Show (one group display) as well as at the public Reuse Expo (individual displays). Artists are required to participate in both the Trade Show and the Expo. Registration fee for all three days is $145 and includes one full registration to the conference. Interested artists must submit an online application.

Criteria for Inclusion

• Art must be created from a minimum of 80% materials reclaimed from the waste stream by you or others (i.e. dumpster dives, reuse centers, thrift shops, etc).
• At least 25% of artwork will be available for sale.
• Artist must be available to staff their booths during trade show and expo hours.
• Be willing to either contribute 10% of sales back to ReuseConex, or to register for the conference (discounted rate available).
• Artists interested in attending the conference at a discounted rate will be given preference.
